This trail starts at the parking lot of 'San Pedro Valley County Park' in the Pacifica hinterland. Parking at the visitor center is 6 Dollars.
Make sure to choose a clear day for this hike, the views of Lindamar, Montara, but also South San Francisco are quite rewarding.
It can be done either as a 1.5 hour loop, or if you feel strong, once you reach the fire road, go left and follow it all the way to the power station at North Peak. Take a break and hike back to the loop and continue walking it down in the other direction. This bumps up the total hiking time to 3.5 hours because it covers extra elevation, but it's well worth it.
